My Boracay Trip!

Finally, I was back in Boracay last March 25. The last time I was there, it was during Ondoy days and to top it all, my camera just broke when I was waiting for my boarding time in Manila Domestic Airport. It was the worst experience I had in Boracay (Oh! Did I mention that it is my first time as well?).

First, a lot of events to celebrate: (1) my niece's, Frances Gabrielle, post birthday (March 1) celebration, (2) mom's post birthday (March 22) and (3) my parents' 29th wedding anniversary (March 26). Going on a beach with my family was really to look forward to since it was ages the last time that we're together especially my elder got married and has 2 kids. We stayed in Boracay Courtyard which was included in our package was a typical 3D/2N and thanks to Zestful Getaways. Although it was not beachfront, still we're happy with the hotel where we stayed.

I had my fair share in Boracay, I was able to drink fruit shakes from Jonah's, experienced paraw sailing, slept on the shore, experienced eat-all-you can food in Sunset Bar, party hard in Epic Bar and Juice Bar and met some cool guys (Too bad I wasn't able to get their numbers. Loss!). In short, Boracay has a lot to offer but I wasn't able to experience it. The next time I'll be back, I'll make sure that if I'm not with my friend, I'll be with my special someone. Hehe.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

March 22. A very special day indeed for the most important woman of my life, my mom, Edna. She's celebrating her birthday and I am thankful that I have a mom like her. I would not be here without her. Thanks for bringing me into this world.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!

My Techy Pamangkins!

My pamangkins are really techy. They know how to play games using iTouch and iPad. And now, they're playing Tekken 6 using PS3. Kids nowadays are really TECHY!

My First Ever Tattoo, I was #DevirgINKized!

It has been year already since I was searching for a tattoo artist. Actually, I was really planning to get my first tattoo way back 2010 but don't have the guts yet. Then I learned from my childhood friend, Janine, that our high school batch mate, Sam Moldero, is now a tattoo artist and I immediately contacted her through Facebook and scheduled an appointment.

The design that I chose was my family's coat of arms that I found in the internet and yes, I am proud to be part of the BRINGAS clan. Here's the design.

Last Saturday, February 25, was my first session with her, we started with the tattoo lining and it last for 3 hours because of the intricate design that I had. Indeed, beauty has price. We're about to continue after that, unfortunately, Sam has another appointment which she totally forgot about so we decided to continue it last Sunday, Feb 26. This time, more on shading. I though it will just last for 3-4 hours since it was shading already. And I was wrong, the shading session lasted for 7 hours. I had it placed at my back and it was painful but not that painful when the needle struck near my spine and scapula that it makes my knees weaken.

Here are some of the photos taken after each session.
Top Pictures: Tattoo Lining, Bottom Pictures: With Shading.

I know it was painful but it gives me a great satisfaction after seeing the outcome of my first ever tattoo. Thanks again, Sam Moldero.

Finished tattoo.

All I can say, I was #DevirgINKized and I am PROUD of it!

A Tribute to Whitney Houston!

Thanks Shelea Frazier for sharing this medley to us. It really reminds us how important Whitney Houston in our lives especially the songs that she inspired us.

Downton Abbey

And I am loving this British television period drama series. Maggie Smith's character here is so epic. I love it.
