Delusion Angel | David Jewell's poem

Daydream delusion,
limousine eyelash,
oh, baby with your pretty face,
drop a tear in my wineglass,
look at those big eyes,
see what you mean to me,
sweet cakes and milkshakes,
I am a delusioned angel,
I am a fantasy parade,
I want you to know what I think,
dont want you to guess anymore,
you have no idea where I came from,
we have no idea where we’re going,
launched in life,
like branches in the river,
flowing downstream,
caught in the current,
I’ll carry you, you’ll carry me,
that’s how it could be,
don’t you know me?
don’t you know me by now?

My 2014 Weekly Savings Challenge

Today marks the end of Week 1 of 2014 and I decided that I will use this chart as a challenge to start saving in a different way. I decided that I will choose the +50/week challenge.

Let the challenge begin and this is a good start for my 2014.

I am Ready, 2014!

This is my first selfie for 2014. I didn't took another shot just like what the others do. I am comfortable and contented with this picture. I am now ready to face my 2014 journey.

A Short-Term Smile

We exchanged SMS for couple weeks before we met. Your first impression was that I was so serious and didn't look that I was really interested with you. This is just me being nervous and if I really like the guy. For the past week, you were the reason for my smile.

I guess, that all smiles will last forever. My smile just ended so fast. With just one SMS that I didn't receive and you did send it, it ruined everything. I thought you were more mature since you were older than me but I guess, you're not. You didn't forgive me after I stayed the while afternoon and night with my team mates which you don't want to believe.

Yes, trust is also needed in a relationship but you didn't trust me at all. I guess, you don't deserve me at all. I'm still thankful with God for letting me know that you're not the right guy.

Happy "Pearl" Wedding Anniversary, Mom & Dad!

I may not be the perfect child or perfect son that you're looking for but I know for sure that I'm so thankful for having the greatest parents in the world. You're not the perfect parents that a child could ask but for me, you're the right parents for me and for my two sisters, Vanya & Nicole. We really appreciate the little things you gave and will give to us. For being so protective and those advices that we have instilled in our minds. Thank you so much!

Happy "Pearl" Wedding Anniversary, Mom and Dad!

Regrets of a Lonely Heart

It has almost been a year since I last made an entry to my blog. I don't know what happened but what I know that I was broken-hearted at that time so I stopped blogging. Most of my friends knew that I had a 4-year long distance relationship with a foreigner gay guy but some don't. I don't blame since they didn't ask at all.

First Regret. I really regret that my LDR ended that way. I also regret that I didn't fight for him and let him go easily without a fight. The fact that I know myself as a fighter makes me regret more cause at that time that I needed to be strong, I was so helpless. I don't where my strength lies when I needed it. A month has passed, I just realized how foolish I was for not making a move to fight for him. Luck really just made a way for me not to fight for him. One of his friends told me that he was cheating on me for the last 9 months that we were together. When I heard, it just made me realize more that he is not the right guy that is worth fighting for. I had loved you and thanks for loving me back. What I missed when we're together is your family that has been close to me but I don't know if I still need to contact them.

Second Regret. I started dating again after my failed relationship last August with a PR guy who's working in Fort Bonifacio area and lives in Marikina. The first time I met him, he was really cute and I hope that he will be my next partner. The sad part, my heart was not yet 100% healed and it was my dilemma. I told him why I wasn't ready yet due to my failed relationship. He replied, "I'm willing to wait since I love you." I hold on to his promise. We' were going out and he made sure that he will find time and wait for me when my shift ends at 1am but his shift ended at 6pm. It was really a sacrifice for him and I really appreciate it. One November morning, I woke up and decided that I'm ready to bring it to the next level that he will be my partner but luck was not with me. He stopped sending me SMS, calling or meeting me up. In short, he was gone in a blink of a eye. I though my heart already healed but it just got wounded again. Not once in a year but it was twice in a year. I fought for him hoping he will re-consider me but got some replies why I was telling him that I love him and I miss him. Isn't it obvious that I am ready now and I love you. To him, I was just nothing. I got broken-hearted. A regret which I hope that I said yes immediately the moment that he asked me.

Third Regret. It is so weird that until now I still miss my partner of 3.5 yrs. This is the guy before the foreigner. If I am given the chance to be with him again, I would but I don't know if it is still okay with him since we had an on-and-off relationship. I regret the fact that I love him so much and at that time, I was still immature on handling a relationship.

The Current Regret. I don't know how to expound this. I'm still  puzzled what happened. I don't know if I feel jealous... if I feel cheated... if I feel that I was just lying to myself all along. It really bothers me a lot. For this kind of regret, it is really hard for me to explain it. I don't know if I'm ready to tell it all. I know I might hurt the feelings of those guys who are currently involved. So hard.

We all have our fair share with love. Some of us have their perfect love story, some don't. Some people have also their own regrets. Hopefully, the regret that I am currently experiencing right now come to an end or it will cease as if it didn't happen at all.

My Boracay Trip!

Finally, I was back in Boracay last March 25. The last time I was there, it was during Ondoy days and to top it all, my camera just broke when I was waiting for my boarding time in Manila Domestic Airport. It was the worst experience I had in Boracay (Oh! Did I mention that it is my first time as well?).

First, a lot of events to celebrate: (1) my niece's, Frances Gabrielle, post birthday (March 1) celebration, (2) mom's post birthday (March 22) and (3) my parents' 29th wedding anniversary (March 26). Going on a beach with my family was really to look forward to since it was ages the last time that we're together especially my elder got married and has 2 kids. We stayed in Boracay Courtyard which was included in our package was a typical 3D/2N and thanks to Zestful Getaways. Although it was not beachfront, still we're happy with the hotel where we stayed.

I had my fair share in Boracay, I was able to drink fruit shakes from Jonah's, experienced paraw sailing, slept on the shore, experienced eat-all-you can food in Sunset Bar, party hard in Epic Bar and Juice Bar and met some cool guys (Too bad I wasn't able to get their numbers. Loss!). In short, Boracay has a lot to offer but I wasn't able to experience it. The next time I'll be back, I'll make sure that if I'm not with my friend, I'll be with my special someone. Hehe.

My First Ever Tattoo, I was #DevirgINKized!

It has been year already since I was searching for a tattoo artist. Actually, I was really planning to get my first tattoo way back 2010 but don't have the guts yet. Then I learned from my childhood friend, Janine, that our high school batch mate, Sam Moldero, is now a tattoo artist and I immediately contacted her through Facebook and scheduled an appointment.

The design that I chose was my family's coat of arms that I found in the internet and yes, I am proud to be part of the BRINGAS clan. Here's the design.

Last Saturday, February 25, was my first session with her, we started with the tattoo lining and it last for 3 hours because of the intricate design that I had. Indeed, beauty has price. We're about to continue after that, unfortunately, Sam has another appointment which she totally forgot about so we decided to continue it last Sunday, Feb 26. This time, more on shading. I though it will just last for 3-4 hours since it was shading already. And I was wrong, the shading session lasted for 7 hours. I had it placed at my back and it was painful but not that painful when the needle struck near my spine and scapula that it makes my knees weaken.

Here are some of the photos taken after each session.
Top Pictures: Tattoo Lining, Bottom Pictures: With Shading.

I know it was painful but it gives me a great satisfaction after seeing the outcome of my first ever tattoo. Thanks again, Sam Moldero.

Finished tattoo.

All I can say, I was #DevirgINKized and I am PROUD of it!

Thanks Shelea Frazier for sharing this medley to us. It really reminds us how important Whitney Houston in our lives especially the songs that she inspired us.
