Be proud of who you are! The International Day Against Homophobia, held on May 17 every year, is a day-to-day rallying event offering an opportunity for people to get together and reach out for one another. Don't let Homophobia dictate who you are and how you should live as a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender! We need to stand up and fight it!
Why May 17? It was chosen because as the day of the event because homosexuality was removed from the International Classification of Diseases of the World Health Organization (WHO) on May 17, 1992.
